Life Advice | Going With Your Gut!

Good afternoon everyone, today I’m doing a post on life advice. The art of going with your gut! Now I’m sure you have all heard the saying “Just go with your gut” But then our mind can double think it and you decide not to but then you wish you had!

There have been occasions in life, well more situations that I’ve gone with my gut feeling and sometimes not at all. But as life goes on and on I listening to my gut more and more!

Everything I do is just really my intuition, and every time I go against my intuition, it’s a mistake. Even though I may sit down and analyze and intellectualize something on paper, if I go against my gut feeling, it’s wrong. Tamara Mellon

For example, even when I was in school, you’re doing a test and your gut is saying one thing but your brain is going, no no its not answer A its B then you start doubting yourself and you then choose C… Now I’m not saying it’s exactly like that but in life our gut says one thing, brain says another!

But this gut feeling can apply to so much of your life, not just the school test. Ever been in a relationship and felt like something didn’t sit right in your stomach or your gut was maybe thinking that she wasn’t faithful or the relationship wasn’t right but you stick it out to see how it goes. Maybe your gut is telling you the right answer but your heart is saying something different.

Or maybe you like someone and you gut is saying, just do it, tell them you like them, but your brain is saying no wait, think about it… Well sometimes in life waiting for the perfect opportunity doesn’t happen! You can’t always try and analyse every situation, think of every possible solution, time isn’t always on our side, going with your gut can sometimes prove to be the best outcome!

Have faith in your intuition and listen to your gut feeling. Ann Cotton

What I’m trying to say is, go with your gut, its right 95% of the time!
